About L3A

The Luxembourg Alternative Administrators Association (L3A) represents fund and corporate administrators of alternative assets in Luxembourg. Founded in 2004, the organisation’s primary goal is to promote the Luxembourg alternative administrator industry and the professional interests of its members, including contributing to the development of Luxembourg as the investment hub and operations centre of choice for global alternative investments managers. L3A helps deliver its mission through four permanent committees (Operations, Tax & Regulatory, HR, and Events & Communications).

The Challenge

L3A was struggling with information overload – notably, to distill the most important and actionable information from many sources of news, industry trends, developments and updates. Curating that overflow, which was not tailored to the organisation’s needs, consumed too much time and resources. As a result, L3A was discovering time-sensitive information too late to react to it and/or to make its opinion known.

The Solution

As an association, L3A must manage informational complexity to ensure it addresses the needs of a diverse audience. As such, the solution to this issue must help the organisation understand market developments and stay on top of critical news and updates across a wide range of issues. So VitalBriefing developed an L3A-branded news briefing customised exactly to the association’s identified areas of interest in line with the four permanent committees referred to above. The workflow was modified to enable L3A to validate the briefings before distribution to ensure that the information provided is fully tailored to its members’ interests. No other provider offered that level of service or quality of product.

ROI, Benefits and Results

L3A is now able to leverage early insights into market developments and issues that it learns from its tailored Briefings. That ability to react to important sector updates has increased the organisation’s visibility. In addition, L3A members consider the Briefings a value-add to their membership, receiving news and intelligence that matters to them most. In addition, VitalBriefing provides engagement metrics (open- and clickthrough-rate data) for the briefings, which gives L3A the capability to better understand which stories and information receive the most attention and are of highest value to their audience, allowing VitalBriefing to adjust the content accordingly.
